Only SWRHA MEMBERS have the ability to nominate prospects and horses for competition.  There are two ways that members can make a horse eligible to compete:

1.  ON FARM NOMINATIONS
On farm nominations are age specific.  Weanlings, yearlings and two year olds, as described below, are able  
to be nominated on farm.

•    WEANLINGS--Any foal to December 31st of birth year.  Nomination fee $50 per foal.
•     YEARLINGS--January 1st to December 31st of yearling year.  Nomination fee $100 per yearling.
•     TWO YEAR OLDS--January 1st to December 31st of two year old year.  Nomination fee $200 per horse.

2.  ROCKING W SALE NOMINATIONS
Any age of horse can be made eligible for competition via sales through a Rocking W Sale.  Specifically, horses aged 3 and older can only be eligible for competition this way.  Members may elect to make an aged horse eligible for SWRHA competition through nomination, consignment to a Rocking W Sale, selling at the Rocking W Sale and purchasing the horse back.  Nomination fees in this instance are $100 per horse.  All other fees and inclusions associated with a Rocking W Sale are solely the responsibility of the consignee member and are due and payable to the Rocking W Sale.  Please contact the Rocking W Ranch & Sale for all details.
