Promoting, Selling, and Training Quality Ranch Horses and Prospects

Our goal is to produce, train, and sell Ranch Horses that excel at ranch work, arena performance and pleasure riding.  The idea of the competition is to add value to the horses sold as prospects for a future competition.
These horses represent a variety of ages, color, experience, and skill.  We have something for everyone.  The horses for sale will be eligible for a future South West Ranch Horse Competition.

This year our SWRHA Sale is being held in conjunction with Rocking W Spring Sale on May 08/2010. Our competition will be held at Thunderbird Horse Center on August 22/2010

The South West Ranch Horse Association(SWRHA) is making some changes and we are pleased to be participating with Rick Wiebe and family in the Rocking W spring sale.  The SWRHA goal is to provide an opportunity to market and show quality ranch horses and to promote the cow horse industry in Manitoba.  Since our first show in 2003 we have accomplished this through our own sale and show, annually paying out more than $5000 dollars plus prizes between the 3 year old and open divisions according to SWRHA rules.  We feel that combining our sale with the Rocking W will provide the best possible marketing opportunity to sell a prospect or a finished ranch horse.  Our format is changing and moving our sale to May and holding the show later in the same year will give you the opportunity to show an eligible horse in the same year as purchased.  The 2010 show date is tentatively scheduled for August 22 in the Brandon area. Watch for further details about the show.
